What is a Music Vacation?

A "Moon Crush Music Vacation" is a unique shared experience that brings you together with friends and family to enjoy beautiful beaches, amazing live music, and - most importantly - time together in the sun and under the stars. Moon Crush is intentionally designed to be a Music Vacation - not just a festival. You can plan on spending days at the beach, by the pool, or enjoying your favorite activities with the people you care about most. Then, as the sun begins to set, you’ll make your way to our intimate outdoor venue where you’ll have a reserved space for an evening of live music from your favorite artists and new ones you’ll discover.

What is a Cove? (Contained Outdoor Viewing Environment)

Your Cove is your reserved space to enjoy music with your friends. We want you to enjoy every moment of music with your people without having to elbow your way through the crowd from a trip for drinks or to the restroom.

Reserved Coves hold groups of 2, 4 or 6 people and will be your Cove during all 4 Days of Music.

All Coves include: 

  • Option for Food & Drink Delivery to Your Cove using your Phone
  • A Chair for each Person in your Group
  • Access to Air Conditioned Bathrooms
How do Accommodations work?

80% of Moon Crush guests travel to Miramar Beach, FL and reserve accommodations in the area. In order to prevent rates from being increased when our event is announced, we have partnered with the Premier Rental Companies to lock in rates of properties on or within walking distance of Seascape Resort.

The majority of the Coves include an Accommodations credit that allows you to select a 1 or 2 Bedroom Condo in Ariel Dunes or the Seascape Villas inclusive of fees. Guests may choose to upgrade to Majestic Sun, Surfside, a 3+ Bedroom property, or any of our Beachfront or Beachside properties by paying an Upgrade Fee which will be listed on the Topeka Accommodations site. If guests live or own a home in the area, they can select Coves in sections that do not include the Accommodations credit in the price of the Cove.

What is included in a Cove and Accommodations package?

Our venue map has a mix of 2-Person, 4-Person and 6-Person Coves for guests to select from! 

All Coves include:

  • Option for Food & Drink Delivery to your Cove using your phone
  • A chair for each person in your group
  • Access to Air Conditioned Restrooms

When purchasing a Cove and Accommodations package, your Cove includes a 4 Night Stay in a 1 or 2 Bedroom at Seascape Resort in any of the Ariel Dunes Towers or Villas on property. Check-in is on Thursday 4/20/2023 and check-out is on Monday 4/24/2023. Guests wishing to upgrade to Majestic Sun, Surfside, a 3+ Bedroom Property or any of our Beachfront and Beachside options can do so when reserving your specific property on our accommodations website after purchasing their Cove. Upgrades start at $300 and all prices include taxes and fees. If you wish to add additional days to your vacation, you can do so once you’ve selected the property you want.

How do I reserve my accommodations?

All guests will be invited to select your actual accommodations from our website that features photos, bed configurations, location, pricing, distance to beach and to the venue plus other useful info to assist in determining your preference from hundreds of condos, villas and homes.

  1. Purchase your Cove and discuss your accommodation needs with your Cove mates.  (Bedrooms, bathrooms, bedding configuration, floor etc)
  2. Visit and select the condo, villa or home you would like to stay in by clicking the “Request this Property” option 
  3. Our team will send you a confirmation email once your Accommodations are reserved and share your contact info with the Property Manager who will reach out to assist with all questions and details about your stay. This includes: check-in/check-out times, door codes, and amenities. Your Property Manager will also assist with adding additional nights to your stay. If your selection is an “Upgraded” Accommodation, we will send you a link to pay the difference. Upgrades will start at $300 per Accommodation.

Note: Since these properties are privately owned, we have seen instances where the owners decide to take them off of the rental program. In the handful of times that we’ve had to do this, we have always been able to find something similar or better for no additional costs.

How does Food & Beverage work?

Delivery & Walk-Up: 

Get ready to enjoy Food & Drinks delivered right to your Cove when you order from your phone. We are working on a beverage menu that will include beer, wine, canned cocktails, mixed drinks, water, soda as well as non-alcoholic options. Expect to see some food trucks and tents with pizza, sushi, tacos, sandwiches and other fun choices for our vegetarian friends. At this point, no outside food will be allowed in the venue. Our goal is to deliver most of these items as well as have walk up bars and food options for those looking to stretch their legs.

How do coolers work at Moon Crush?

Guests can purchase the Official Pink Moon '23 Cooler or bring back a cooler from previous Moon Crush vacations. These are the only coolers that will be allowed in the venue and they can be brought in EMPTY (no ice, no liquids) each day. The coolers can be taken out each night with any items you have left, and you can use it at the beach the next day if you'd like or leave it in your Cove. While we have 24hr security and video monitoring, we can’t promise that the cooler or contents will be safe.

Will outside Food and Drink be allowed in?

No outside food or drinks will be allowed. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons with a directive from a doctor.

What are my options if I need to cancel my Music Vacation?

For guests who experience scheduling conflicts after purchasing your Cove: 

- During booking or within 72 hours of your purchase, add our “Re-Assurance” refundable ticket upgrade option to your vacation. This add on will allow you to cancel for any reason and receive the following amount of refund (less the cost of your “Re-assurance” upgrade): 

  • Cancel 90 or more days prior to vacation to receive 100% refund
  • Cancel 60-90 days prior to vacation to receive 85% refund
  • Cancel 35-60 days prior to vacation to receive 70% refund
  • Cancel inside 35 days to receive a 50% future Topeka credit

Your “Re-Assurance” ticket upgrade will refund you the purchases made on the Moon Crush ticketing page in the event you need to cancel. Please note this will not cover refunds for travel, local excursions, additional lodging nights, etc that are purchased elsewhere. 

-You may also choose to insure your Music Vacation with a 3rd party such as Travel Insured
Outside plans may cover your Moon Crush passes and accommodations in the case you can no longer attend along with travel, illness, and more. Coverage is determined by your insurance company, so we suggest you contact them directly.

- We have partnered with CashorTrade to create a place where guests can sell tickets to other guests for no more than face value. This platform charges the buyer 5% of the total fee, but since Cove’s are priced higher than normal tickets, buyers can buy an annual subscription for $36 vs paying the fee. Cash or Trade will hold the money until after the event and then send to the seller.  This is the only allowed way to transfer or sell your tickets.  We will direct all guests to use this platform vs the Facebook Group.

What is "The Sound"?

We’re excited to try something new this year based on feedback we’ve received from guests and artists! The front few rows of the venue will be transformed into a large Cove that we’ve named, “The Sound”. This experience will be reserved for guests who have already purchased a Cove and would like to add on a “Single Day” pass upgrade for a front-row experience. Our hope is that this will allow more guests to experience being up close and personal and let the artist’s feel your energy from the stage!

“The Sound” passes will be sold per day and the space is limited to 300 tickets to keep the intimacy of the area. Seating is first come first served and all chairs will be removed prior to the headliner’s performance. Guests who purchase these passes will be able to go back and forth between their Cove and “The Sound” on their specific day.

Why do we have guests book lodging with us vs booking with VRBO or a local rental company?

The condos and homes are all individually owned and the owners determine the rental rates.  Based on our research in other areas that host events like Moon Crush, the owners see it as an opportunity to raise prices significantly. Our team has established partnerships with the best Rental Companies & HOAs in the area to ensure that our guests get fair pricing. By securing blocks with each company, we can offer group rates and make it easier for guests to stay close to the venue.

Can I buy passes to the event on site?

All passes must be purchased in advance of Moon Crush. No Coves or parking passes will be sold onsite.

What is the capacity for this event?

Most of the artists you will see on our stage regularly perform for audiences of 10,000 - 25,000 fans. By limiting our capacity to 5,000, you get to see these artists enjoy the rare treat of being able to deliver a special show in an intimate setting. We also invite the artists to vacation with their families and friends during the event which can lead to some impromptu collaborations.

Is it Miramar Beach, FL or Miramar, FL?

We realized that there is more than one Miramar in Florida. We are in Miramar Beach, FL which is near Ft. Walton Beach between Destin, FL, and 30A. The other Miramar is near Miami.

How does sitting and standing work in the Coves?

We realize that some of our guests prefer to enjoy the music while sitting and some like to dance the entire time. For guests who are unable or have trouble standing for long periods of time, please reach out to our team at 785-390-8615 and we’ll work to try to find you a more comfortable and accommodating option. This may result in being in a different location but we will work with you to find the best available solution.

What happens if it rains or there’s bad weather at showtime?

Moon Crush is a rain or shine event. Should inclement weather conditions occur, we may adjust showtimes either by starting earlier or ending later. In the case of extreme weather, we may move shows to the following day.

Is there a VIP or Platinum Package?

At Topeka, we don’t believe in VIP or Platinum Packages. Our vacations are about connecting with your people in a community setting. All guests will enter through the main entrance, have a Cove for their group, option of Food and Drink delivered to them and have access to the same premium air-conditioned bathrooms. Think of it as just one big VIP section!

What happens if there is a hurricane?

We will offer all guests a full refund in the event of a hurricane during our scheduled music vacation and in the case the local authorities issue evacuation orders. We have insurance to cover the cancellation of the event due to weather. Each housing partner has different cancellation policies and we encourage all guests to buy travel insurance on your accommodations to allow you to receive a full refund vs a future credit on housing.

Is there a youth discount?

Children under the age of 3 do not need a ticket to attend the event, but a parent or adult must hold the infant in their lap as they will not have a dedicated seat. Children 3 or older are required to have their own seat in a Cove at full ticket price.

Is there an age limit to be part of this experience?

Moon Crush is an all ages music vacation! However, you must be at least 21 years old to be the Lead Guest on a Cove reservation. For accommodations, the age requirement to be the Lead Guest on a reservation is 25 years old.

Our partner, Seascape Resort Inc. has negotiated discount air travel on American and Delta Airlines. We want your Moon Crush experience to begin with your booking process and to be able to partner with these airlines is just another way we can show you, our appreciation. You may book your airline tickets online or by calling the airlines direct. You must apply the Meeting Code/Promo Code when ordering your tickets. Online must be purchased on the airline’s website. (No Expedia, Priceline)

Choose your Flights, Once you get to the Passenger Information page, you will add the PROMO Code there. The discount will then be applied.

You will still be able to earn your own Frequent Flier miles as normal. The discount is available for travel from April 16, 2023 – April 27, 2023 for those that wish to extend your stays.

Where will Moon Crush be held?

The Moon Crush venue is located on the golf course at Seascape Golf Beach & Tennis Resort (100 Seascape Drive, Miramar Beach, FL 32550)

What is the best airport to fly into?

We recommend Destin / Ft. Walton Beach Airport (VPS) which is approx a 30-minute drive, Panama City Beach, FL (ECP) which is approx an hour drive or Pensacola Airport (PNS) which is approx an hour and 45 minute drive.

Is there parking at the Venue?

We will be offering a limited supply of parking passes on-site but encourage all guests to walk, bike, or rent a golf cart. There will be free bike and golf cart parking at the venue.

Is the event ADA-friendly?

The venue is ADA accessible and we offer ADA Coves upon request. Please message us 785-390-8615 if you require ADA assistance and our team will be happy to assist you!  

Will there be ADA parking?

Yes - we have an ADA parking lot located at the venue. After purchasing your pass, please message us at 785-390-8615 and we'll make sure you're all set.
